March 2011- Trip to Utah

Ruby at 5 months. The PJ's say it best. Lucky Me.

The kids and I went to visit temple square and when Abbie saw the temple she said (in her dramatically excited arms extended way) "They built this for MEEEE?!"

We stopped at Shashone (sp?) Falls in Twin Falls, Idaho on the way down. While Wade was taking a test the kids and I went to see it. It was sooooo windy.

It can actually be pretty if you crop out all the buildings and power lines.

March 2011-

Max got the Excellence in Academics award! He's one smart kid.
Ruby decided to try baby food. We tried every kind and she doesn't like ANY of them:).

Our 'pretty pretty princess'! Below she's in a hat Savannah made for her that she wears at some point almost everyday. Wade LOVES that hat on her. Me not so much. Especially right after I finish her hair.

February 2011

Don't let the tears fool you:)! As soon as she saw me coming she whipped those tears of remorse up instantly. She cut a big hole in the front of her shirt with 'safety' scissors that I can't get to cut paper. She was so so sorry for ruining her shirt.

Ruby at just under 4 months old

January 2011 - I know it's late but at least I'm not a year behind!

Birthday Boy Max turned 10! He had his party at 'Bounce' which is the perfect place for 10 'smelly' boys to let out some aggression and have tons of fun!Max & Jake Andrew "trying" to make a bundt cake for a Sunday evening snack. This was not how they imagined it but it still got devoured.

Accessorized Abbie!! Happens everyday. . . She's either calling Wade or Stephanie. Love HER!

December 2010- Christmas

We stayed home this Christmas and just had a slow relaxing weekend. I did get a new camera from Wade 'yeah!' but I was taking pictures on my old camera until I opened it. So the Christmas eve PJ shots are trapped in the old camera until I take it in to get them put on a CD to transfer onto the computer! There are also the cutest manger scene pictures from the play the kids put on but until then here are the few that I did get.

These are from a few weeks before Christmas. Putting together a Christmas package for my parents who are on a mission in Brasil.

December- 2010 - Gingerbread house competition

In my defense it was still standing when I got up to take care of Ruby but destroyed when I got back!

Savannah's

Wade's

Brady's (While building this every time a wall would fall he had a disaster story as the reason. ie: a tornado, earth quake etc, etc. very entertaining)

November 2010- Thanksgiving in Greer, Arizona with the Steele's

Thanksgiving in Greer! We weren't going to go but Wade thought since Ruby was just a few weeks old I could use the family interaction/distraction and he was right. It was very worth it even staying up at the Hoyt cabin freezing wasn't too bad.

This is a picture of the whole Steele clan taken by Kim but for some reason it won't save to my computer non-blurry (I've left it to figure that out and replace it later).
Savannah (taken by Kim-I don't know why this one works!!UGH!!) Love the picture though!
I was getting frustrated that I wasn't taking pictures so I sent my kids around with my camara and these are the hightlights of those.

Ruby LaPreal Steele

September- 2010- FOOTBALL

We were immersed in Football all month. With practices every night of the week for 2-3 hours plus games every Saturday including a trip up to McCall it was pretty much our life for 9 weeks! Good thing Max absolutely loved it!! One highlight was playing on the 'blue turf' at Boise State. They were the Warriors and they only lost 1 game all season. Max is #44.
