The Wallow Fire in Arizona has caused our little town of Greer to be evacuated! We have been going there every summer to be with cousins and form lasting friendships. My grandfather built it and though I never knew him since he past away before I was born it was where we heard great stories about him from my mom, aunts, and his friends in surrounding cabins. I have been so blessed that my Nonny (grand mother) has continued to allow us to use the cabin with my kids and their cousins as we did with ours. It has been the highlight of all of our years since forever. I am praying that we will still get to go this year and many years to come.

After over 3 weeks we finally know that it survived the fire in spite of it coming within a few feet of it! The water line has been repaired and it will be useable.
